Extend targets companies in the sales tech vertical of SaaS products. This heavily-saturated vertical continues to grow with new competitors daily.
The video background highlights the challenges these companies face. Growing your SaaS company can feel like waiting in line at the deli. Extend offers companies of any size the opportunity to jump the line and quickly achieve their sales goals.
The shoot
The branding of this project required the deli counter to be the brand’s orange color on a pure white background. In the absence of a seamless backdrop, a softbox was used as the white background. A strip softbox was used as the key light for the counter and actors pulling the tickets.
Utilizing a log profile, I was able to grade the deli counter to match the brand and push the white background to pure white.
Wrapping it up
The pacing for this project was important. Website backgrounds are most effective when they compliment the message of the page as too much motion in the background can distract the user.
After some timing adjustments, I pushed the background to pure white and masked out the deli counter so it could be graded to match the rest of the page.
